Thrixopelma pruriens

Freshly molted male. The carapace has turned gold and lost its green tint.
There is a lot here that makes me skeptical.....the carapace should be dark, the legs (all of them) should be almost black, the hairs on the rump shouldn't be as bright red, and your t doesn't have the trademark gold patch on the abdomen.....which is a very prominent feature.

Interesting! It's a male, so I'm not opposed to a mystery spider. I wonder if it is a valparaiso then.
