Can I ask exactly what you see that points to female? I'm new to the hobby and I've yet to understand what I've read about vent sexing. Also yea, trying to get a moult has been a pain for me, everytime I get one from any of my Ts the part I need to look at is all crunched up

If you soak the moult in warm water with a drop of dish soap in it will soften and you can lay on some tissue and use pins to unscruntch it . It takes some practice but a skill worth having if you keep t's .
That's np at all, females tend to stick out like a pouch above the slit which is called the epigastric furrow. It will also be quite wide and the furrow it's self is smile shaped .
Males dip in above the furrow, looks like an empty arch, and the furrow tends to be short and flat .
I use the emoji as shape reference . If you want to get good at venting I suggest watching the media feed and when you see vent pics try n guess before you click on the pic, then watch the pic see what ppl say n if you guessed right you know your on the right track, it's what I did , it works for getting better with species names too .
I will say though I have been told the venting tricks only work with new world t's, I can't help with ow as I am still learning ...they seem to be more complicated .
I hope I helped and if you have any more questions just ask . Welcome to the wonderful world of t's .
