Neischnocolus cf. mecana
The species used to be known as Neischnocolus (or Ami) sp. Panama. 2.5 cm body length / over 2 inches DLS.
Looks female to me. I can get a pic of my confirmed female for comparison tonight, though.

Where did you see the name change?

On a rather well established Polish website: https://www.terrarium.com.pl/nius/ami-sp-panama-zmiany-nazw/
Many vendors here followed the change. I'm not 100% convinced though, hence cf.
Thanks... I missed that 2023 paper by Echeverri, et al - I saw the one they did a few months later about N. cisnerosi, but didn't see the N. mecana paper (found here - https://wsc.nmbe.ch/species/61635).

That said, I'm skeptical, too. The type locality is confusing - how do we go from Panama to Colombia? Also, the coloration of the female specimen photographed and described in the paper is almost completely black with bands at the leg joints, while my female is much more colorful:

The spermathecae example shown in the paper is similar to that of my female, but there are certainly differences:

Something I've come across recently that is a bit frustrating is that it seems some of these taxonomists are including female spermathecae from immature specimens in their documentation. Comparing spermathecae from a mature adult female to the examples from immature specimens can be difficult.

Anyway, vent over. I'll send a pic of my female's vent later!
