You will get one soon enough.... n then you'll be as frustrated as me that you have such beautiful t's that hardly ever come out to get pics . This girl usually lives in a web castle up the bk of her viv n I usually can't see more then legs , although she has been out alot more since her last moult.
I am probably going to get flack for this but.... she isn't as pretty as my phormictopus sp blue π«’ , I need an led daylight torch to see that purple on Lolanthe, but Dori my sp blue glows hot pink and purple no light needed . She's alot more bold in personality to .
Interesting take. I've not seen either (properly) in the flesh, so couldn't comment on the comparison, but the whole genus seems to be amazing and quite underrated.
I quite fancy an auratus. And a green femur. And a sp. purple. And and and....!
Dori Phormictopus sp blue saf let me snap a quick pic while she stuffed in one of her locusts π such a good girl. (When she's distracted π.)

This is my sp blue this pic was taken after her recent moult with just my phone no torch needed, she was gray/red before this shift in colour 5inches dls same as my Dominican purple and much more spunky. Her colours blew me away after she moulted, I really didn't expect it.
I have an auratus male called Present he is my most chilled phormictopus no reaction unless its food or water not used a burrow since 2inches dls, he is a very pretty boy almost black with hints of bronze and red, I did have a small female green femur to but she unfortunately had a bad moult never shed her sucking stomach .
I have a sp bayahibe female to, I never see her though she burrowed n never comes out, I don't even see feet . I only know she's OK because her food vanishes over night .
They are definitely fun to keep and in my experience every sp has its own personality. I find some genus's you can count on general behaviour, like with Nhandu they dig or thrixopelma are crazy, avicularia are webby rocks ect but these every sp is different. I recommend them highly when you decide to get a new floofer .
