Ms Dani Calafornia Sericopelma santa catalina saf been hiding for about 3 months in premoult but moulted a few days ago, noticed her chilling in her burrow entrance so I got a sneeky pic through the vent hole just can't beat thise legs
Thank you i think so too . Those colours are her natural colours too i did nothing to her pic, dont need to, she sings all the time , the name was definitely apt for her.
Sericopelma are my favourite genus tied with thrixopelma . I definitely recommend them if you come across them and you like a spood with attitude, grab em lol .
I keep 5 sp out of the genus and I love all of them. They like the humidity a bit, not Theraphosa damp but still humid, and they all dig like there is no tomorrow, 6/7 months ago Dani's enclosure was green with moss had leafs flowers ect now it is a box of dirt lol but she's happy so I am too. They are huge eaters too, they will take so much food they are dropping it because they can't fit that many in , not frightened to come hurling out the burrow at you if you disturb them either, my Daphne is 8inches dls and will come full speed out of her burrow and throw herself at the glass to get me if i touch her viv, it is humbling, hilarious and amazing to watch all at once.... girl hates being dustubed but soon as food is dropped in she goes from kill all to ooo food in 0.1 seconds .Truly an amazing genus, plus as slings all black with those orange socks to cute for words lol.
As you can tell I can't gush about them enough, more ppl should keep them! .
