as low as $225, given their amazing beauty, and unique look, they are not that expensive relative to many other snakes surprisingly. always thought it was going to be my first after a bp, but I was sidetracked along the way. almost bought one about 10 yrs..maybe..will see.

They're really not that expensive and their care isn't tricky at all, it's just the humidity maintenance. Do yourself a favour and just buy a misting system. Even with one of those I'm topping it up near enough every day and fiddling with the settings all the time but I am a worrier...
Biggest thing I've found is that they need it far cooler than people say. They really don't like it particularly hot. My girl has a hot spot of 29C ish and that's enough for her. I've also found they will eat a bit less than you think. I can't speak for them all but my girl is very shy and really prefers to be left alone. She is super sweet but doesn't tolerate much interaction. Definitely not a beginner snake but not terribly tricky.
