Hello! I'm from the philippines, Panay to be exact location in Iloilo. About 3-4 years ago I bought a Tarantula, and the seller gave me a freebie a around 2cm sling. He mentioned that it’s a local species, but he didn’t know the exact species because he caught it in the wild and bred it in captivity
Probably a Selenocosmiinae of some sort. Looks a lot like Selenocosmia peerboomi, but those are from Negros, not Panay. I suppose your seller could have caught one on Negros, and I wouldn't be surprised if some made it to Panay over the years.
I'll add more substrate right now, thank you for the tips and the id of my T! and yeah Negros and Iloilo are not far to each other, lol. Ill post a pic around next or next2 week since she closed up her enclosure. Probably on premolt
Likely Orphnaecus sp. Search for "Wild Nature" on FB - it's a page about biodiversity in the Philippines, and there are many posts focusing on tarantulas
