Thinking of buying this beauty, but I've had issues with this stores supplyer giving incorrect ID, was wondering if this is really Stromatopelma calceatum
Ayyyy thanks so much for the quick reply! :D, I didnt wanna drop 100$ on a T that possibly wasn't what was advertised. Can't wait to pick up my new baby on thursday now.
FYI, if you're paying $100.00 for it, that's way too much. You can get these tarantulas very cheap at reptile expos, online, etc. They're sometimes even given as freebies. Due to this spider's potent venom, reclusive nature, etc. they can be difficult to find homes for because the supply often is greater than the demand. Just wanted to let you know!

Yeah, I know in a lot of other places they're def cheaper, but because of where I live, shipping from somewhere else that isnt local usually costs me more than the tarantula itself. Honestly the only tarantulas that I can get in my area for under 100$ (besides slings) is male poecilotheria species.
