This should be a male. Females would have a smooth curve all the way across the top lip of the epigastric furrow, instead of notched in the middle like this.

Thank you!! I kinda figured they were a male cuz of some of their behaviors and their abdomen never really fattening no matter how many superworms he eats LOL. You're the best and btw I really appreciate the explanation cuz it made no sense to me how you guys were able to tell without a molt

I try my best to explain when there's something easy to explain like this. Sometimes, though, it's just a hunch and is harder to explain - when you know you know kind of thing. That said, always confirm by checking a molt - I've been wrong before, even when it seems like it's certain.
