If there are hooks on the underside of the 1st pair of legs and also emboli on the palpsbthen yes will be a mature male and will also help explain why looks so scuffed/skinny as he may have been mature for a while.
Yeah, it's hard to see from this angle but he has the hooks you mentioned and also emboli. It's a shame because I just purchased him at the beginning of last month so he hasn't been in my care for too long.
I had purchased it from a Petco and it was labeled as a B. minax but everything I've read about the species suggests that they grow to 4-5" and this little guy is maybe 3" max so I wasn't sure if that was correct.

Bonnetina minax MM makes sense to me. Remember that reported adult sizes almost always refer to the size of a full grown adult female, and males generally mature at much smaller sizes than females. 3" is about what you'd expect from a mature male of this species.
Ah, okay. I didn't know reported adult sizes usually referred to females. This little guy is a lot smaller than the my other t's I currently have so I just didn't know. Thank you for the info
