My girl would probably do the same if I gave her the chance, but since she arrived in her old enclosure (terrestrial set up), which she finds so comfortable that barely hides anymore, and doesn’t show any sign of defensiveness when I open the lid, decided to leave her in there, and spare her from the potential stress of a rehouse. My other fossorials are burrowers though, but quite visible, and easy to lure them out during feedings.

I got my girl as a saf n she came from a small braplast box maybe 3lt in a small dark garden shed to an 18x10x10 clear viv in a busy house with light n kids, so she sat in the corner of the viv for 6 months behind a plant n just as I was going to move her because she had never settled she burrowed and I haven't seen more then legs since she's happy n eating moulting ect now though so I have just left her in there.
Better to leave them if they are happy if they don't need the bigger viv n are happy where they are there is no need. Especially when they take so long to settle .
