Yes, female. As for maturity, part of it is making sure the spermathecae are sclerotized (dark & hardened) sufficiently. I can't tell from the pics how developed these are, but I would probably wait for one more molt. However, if you've got a male that's ready to go, and you can get your female fed and up to a good weight, it really won't hurt to try - if she's not ready, she just won't engage the male (or she'll eat him if he doesn't leave her alone).
