Hi everyone, I'm new to the tarantula hobby and waw gifted this little guy.
Can anyone help with identifying it?
Monocentropus balfouri? When do they get the blue legs? It is currently around 2cm. Would it be normal if it didn't have the blue colouration yet?
It would be completely normal. It’s clearly not a MM. Or an adult spider. My guess would be M Balf and in a few molts you will see blue. Or M lambertoni

MM CH. Kaeng krachen has a body length between 2 and 3 cm... So why is the spider on the pic clearly not a mm?

Because it’s a small juvi Eumenophorinae. More than likely M. balfouri because lambertoni is impossible to find in the hobby and Longimanus has never been introduced to the hobby.

OPs spider will start to get blues in the next molt or two.

Oh alright. Is care any different from what was advised previously?

I'll update you guys when it finally molts.

Really appreciate the discussion and help from you guys.
