Märit (pronounced almost exactly like "merit", emphasis on the "e"), one of my two big C. cyaneus girls. It's so hard to capture her purpur to violet hues but my goodness, she's gorgeous!
Very much blown out colour (worst camera I've ever had in a phone). They are incredible in person, especially when freshly moulted.
I honestly don't know why they are labelled as a dwarf species. Small yes, but definitely larger than dwarfs. Fairly fast, good eaters. My subadult male grew to 3.5" within two years at room temp. Out on display most of the time when older. All in all a very pleasant tarantula species in my experience.
So lucky to see yours! I have a small 2 inch female got her as a 1/4 inch sling had her about 18 months, think she's only been out of her burrow twice n one of those was because I rehoused her . Beautiful sp though and gorgeous girl! (Even if the cam did wash her out.)

Thank you! My subadult male was the same as your female until he reached about 2.5 inches. Then he suddenly abandoned all fossorial inclinations at once and never looked back haha! So fingers crossed your little girl will get the same idea in a moult or two.
