Need positive ID (found in IL). Found this new friend crawling around work today…was super happy to see her (him?)! I’m thinking Dysdera crocata? I couldn’t get a good look at the chelicerae though.
That’s what confused me initially when trying to ID this spider. She looks so similar to D. crocata, except the for the faded black stripe on her abdomen and “shorter” chelicerae. I think Trachelas genus makes more sense, now that I’ve looked at other photos online.

Yeah I’ve never seen a Trachelas before in person. but they have popped up on this site and I always get them confused with D. crocata it’s the smaller chilicera and fangs that’s a red flag it’s not the sowbug killer.
