Namaari Nhandu caraponensis saf,
Moulted about 3 weeks ago n I can't get over that blue she picked up she was always charcoal before now wish my cam would pic it up better, she's steel blue with red floof in rl
I can't recommend them enough loves her food like all Nhandu, builds deep burrows, but spends 90% of her time out infront of it, only retreating when she's in premoult but a week after she moults she's bk out waiting for food she's sturdy to no bolting when I am touching or in her viv, I got her about a year n a half ago an already confirmed female about 2.5 inches n she's just hit 5inches on her last moult. She was gray when she came with pink floof but as she's got older she has picked up that steel blue colour n her floof is more red but my cam doesn't want to pick the colour up. I can whole heartedly recommend them and do to anyone that asks about her .

That’s so awesome! I remember my first T was a nhandu chromatus, got her as a sling. Found out she was female, was so happy then she suddenly died from a bad molt. Absolutely crushed me, I’m still sad bout that cause I took such good care of her as well. Nhandu is def an awesome genus.

I am sorry for your loss, I lost my smaller chromatis female named Nancy last week. I had gotten her as a freebie about a year ago she was tiny when she came still looked like a nymph, so I understand, and like you I am not sure what happened she just didn't survive after the moult. Its always heartbreaking to lose any t but one you raised is always worse.
But yes Nhandu are an excellent genus, my hope is to one day have a female of each species in the genus but my caraponensis Namaari is my favourite, she's just as bold as any other Nhandu but so much less bolty. She won't be as big as the other girls but what she lacks in max size she definitely makes up for in her ' I own everything and you, stupid biped ' attitude
