Potentially, do you think a grease rim (petroleum jelly, or something similar) would mitigate escape in a top open enclosure? I'm thinking to thy that out if I see babies!

I never have, I worry grease can get in the lungs, but maybe I'm paraniod. I just use pantyhose over the top then put enclosure in a bin they can't climb when I pull it. It could be 200, and they leave her at different times so I usually split it up into 2 catches. Or you can incubate, but studies show they do better with mom. I haven't noticed any difference so far, have a sac raised each way. Incubating is easier, and it takes the chance for her to eat them away. Given the possible rarity, I'd probably pull to make sure I had them.
