Have you had (or seen) a mature male? If so, how big was it? Because I bought an unsexed G. iheringi that is absolutely ginormous at 8+ inches. The seller told me they believed it was a male due to grown rate, but if your female is mature at 6 inches I'm not so sure anymore. I have yet to get a moult from mine but it's definitely not a mature male.

I have a male here that is also immature and probably a tab bigger (DLS) wise than the female. The male is from another AB member as we both thought he would mature next moult and be introduced to my female. But he didn't mature at last moult.

Thanks! I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I have a young sexed pair that are maybe 5"-5.5", and I was secretly hoping he would be mature next moult. Maybe not lol. Thanks again for the quick reply!

Yes, 100% sure. They've both moulted thrice since I got them in February 2022 and I could confirm its indeed a male and female even though they are of similar size. I got the big one in January this year and they are in no hurry to moult it seems, but regardless of what sex they are it could benefit me in one way or another. If it's a male I can pair my female sooner and have a male ready for a second pairing in the future. If it's a female then I'll have another female for my confirmed male. Win-win!
