I have always finished incubation on mine and never left it to mummy. I had 2 sacs within 2 weeks of each other with nearly 300 L1 across both sacs, about 10 losses. I wonder if those numbers would reduce if left with mummy? I doubt it though, as arboreal seem to be much better parents than terrestrial IME
