@antinous are you able to confirm?

17cm female
@Che
I have exactly one Pampho (an immature male P. sp. nigricolor), but I'm a fan of the genus for sure. This is a female?
Yeah, Female*
Sorry, thought you had more looking at your previous posts that I always found helpful

*based on moult pic and DLS pic also provided but I haven't put up (yet) but can do.

No worries, I would have more of them if I had the space... I know identifying male Pampho's is tricky, and they've got the more distinct markings, so ID'ing females is that much more difficult. Hopefully one of the other guys can be more helpful, might also tag @c.h.esteban.

The Ecuadorian Pamphobeteus i the hobby are a funny mess. Especially the so called P sp NIGRICOLOR from there as well the sp PLATYOMMA.

Around 1992/1993 the P. sp GOLIATH (from Sto. Domingo) was introduced in the pet trad as P. nigricolor and was sold later as P. sp GOLIATH.
Around 2008 i get another so called P. sp NIGRICOLOR which came obviosly also from Ecuador, because the young ones had these typical xmas tree pattern. But it was a bit different the these that i know from the sp GOLIATH.

A later examination of the adult males shows that the bulb really differs from the sp GOLIATH and fits more to the sp MACHALA.
I have no idea about the origin of these second sp NIGRICOLOR. So i dont search for any further differences to the other species we know from the southwest or if there other species which are also labeled as NIGRICOLOR.

From your pictures it does not looks like the P sp GOLIATH to me.
It´s more like the second one, but it´s just a educated guess.

Here can you see pictures of very old females from these 2 species.

Thank you for response. I am not on Fakebook so can't view but believe from your comment that P sp nigricolor is correct (educated guess wise) yeah?

As i had try to explained above, i have no features to distinguish these second P sp NIGRICOLOR propper from other similar Pamphobeteus spp from the southwest.
Thats why i can not say P sp nigricolor is correct!
And who knows whatever else is circulating in the hobby as NIGRICOLOR?

You can found pictures of these P. sp NIGRICOLOR in my media now.
