Anyways, variety is always better when feeding pets, so I wouldn't say feed them only chicken or turkey. However it's high in protein and calories, and the T won't have to deal with bones or chitin exoskeleton which are hard to digest.
It's also real meat that's risk free since even if the tarantula is freshly molted there's 0 risk posed to it for obvious reasons.
I feed them this maybe 2 or 3 times a month, along with a variety of feeder insects and all of my Ts are healthy. I'm not saying you must do it, that's up to you.
