Phormingochilus sp. "Rufus".

Such a beauty.
Pretty much all arboreals here and soon to be mainly Phormingochilus. Just picked up an Ackaya and its takedowns and attack ferocity put the rest of my collection to shame. I accidentally startled it trying to get a measurement last night when it was on the glass and the thing just spazzed out. Flew off the enclosure wall like bruce lee , arms just everywhere. Think it was asleep and I do the same thing when people use to mess with me while I was sleeping lol. I was like WOOOOO finally found what Ive been looking for in a Tarartula, a super spicy one. Think it was underfed though , arrived with a really small abdomen. I dropped in a mealworm while it still had its arms raised, through the vent hole mind you because I was NOT opening the lid till it calmed down. It hit that mealworm like a freight train. Rest of my collection consists of C Versi, O Violacepes, C Bach Ma, C Hati Hati and little OBT an Hmac freebie that came with the Ackaya. I actually love the colors of all the Phormingochilus sp, especially the Everetti and Ive been reading they are frequently out. But People say O Violacepes is only out at night, I see my female out during the day all the time. Maybe that will change with age.
