H sp. ‘Colombia’

H sp. ‘Colombia’ Sling eating mealworm (sorry ab the #scorpion I couldn’t find any other hashtags and couldn’t post otherwise haha)
For such a small T, members of this genus are incredibly ferocious taking prey down several times their size, and eating like pigs. I love them.

I find a similar thing with trapdoors, the juveniles and small curtain web species have literally no chill when it come to taking down large prey

Had a feeling they could be like that after observing them in an arachnologist's lab.

I cannot figure out why such a tiny T is so ferocious. I remember the first one I owned when they were new to the US. I expected a tepid response a bit. Man, it tackled a cricket larger than itself (didn't have anything at the time to feed), and it rolled over like an acrobat. Truly impressive eaters on a smaller scale. My larger Brachys are not nearly as impressive, not ever.
