Got a bunch of mixed scorpions in from Nicaragua. I was thinking this one may be a species of Tityus. It’s about 2” long. Has a reddish brown color when in the light.
I believe C. gracilis is endemic to many Central American countries. I’m not 100% sure about Nicaragua, but they have a pretty extensive range if I remember correctly.
Was looking at a previous picture of a C. Gracilis I have side by side and the gracilis has a completely different tone of brown on the legs, plus the body and tail are completely black whereas this one has a reddish brown tone on most of its body.
