Eleven years for a male of a species as fast growing as a Xenesthis. How is that even possible? I‘m under the impression that only males of slow growers like Grammostola, Aphonopelma or Brachypelma could hope to live that long. What kind of temperatures were you keeping him at? Did you feed him infrequently? Impressive in any case! And the size is quite something too! Pretty sure it rivals most Theraphosa in that regard.
