Poecilotheria are probably the easiest genus to sex ventrally. Males will have a pronounced “dot” in the middle of the epigastric furrow, while this will be absent in females, instead the female will appear to have “lips” there. Dorsally, I’m not good at sexing though P. ornata is indeed one of the only species that can be sexed dorsally before maturity.
