Got a microscope and have been messing around with some molts I had. So far it seems I’m getting males. I’d like confirmation so I’m sure what I’m seeing is correct and can apply it to the other ones I’m currently unfolding
I do plan on it, just was curious weather I could tell at this size. The two brown spots look like accessory organs though don’t they? I also see the kind of antennae shape in between but I thought it may be another male part. I’m not too well versed in tarantula anatomy but I’m working on it.
I think the two brown spots are way too far apart to mean anything. Im Looking at the middle area where it almost looks like something. All the hairs starting from the bottom of the image start spaced apart but come together in an upsidedown v-shape. If you follow those hairs toward the middle until they stop near the middle of the image it almost looks like there's is female parts but. Not certain

Yes I do see that as well. I didn’t expect anyone to be positive of it as it’s so small and hard to tell anyway. Was just curious what others thought. Thank you!
If you look at the other age you posted it's the same. The hairs almost form a V. In your other pic it looks like the hairs start at the 9 o'clock posting and head east. I see something near the center in that photo too. Slightly leaning female for both of the pics but need to wait for future molts

Looking at the slide again under the scope, the other one almost looks the same too. It blurs it pretty badly because it’s not a digital microscope and I have to point my camera down the thing to see.
I think the brown spot might be part of the book lungs. So if you find the point exactly halfway between those two spots that's where the business should be

It could be, but the book lungs were farther out of the shot. Like I said I’m not too well versed on anatomy though. I know some basic things and I can generally sex large molts but I’ve never attempted to do it with molts this tiny.
I looked up spermatheca of Psalmopoeus pulcher and it did look like mine. The brown structures just looked like male accessory organs. If this one is suspected to be female, the Lasiodora parahybana I tried to sex likely is as well. It’s much less visible in the photo but looking through the microscope I saw it. Do females also have those brown structures? I’m not the best with tarantula anatomy, to be honest. But if they were male, there would just be nothing in between, correct?
