Pre killed can be really useful for slings but I do like to take the "Jurassic Park" approach to feeding. I will explain.
The scene where they feed a Goat to the T-Rex in the first film and the immortal words.... 'T. Rex doesn't want to be fed, he wants to hunt'
Therefore, if you can get live prey small enough (smaller or same size of abdomen) then just watch little Pip do what million years of instinct has hard wired it to do. It's awesome watching them hunt.
My fruit flys have died out (we had a warm snap ) so unfortunately I had to pre kill but I am getting more on Monday but on line so hopefully only 1 more pre killed on Monday till my order comes and then Pip can do what t's do best and hunt I very much look forward to seeing it. and thanks for the advice I like to know what I am doing is OK for Pip. Pip's welfare will always come first

Micro (pinhead) crickets are usually readily available from reptile stores and live food suppliers and my preferred choice over fruit flies - which I find a complete pain in the backside to round up.
With micro crickets I bang the cricket tub, pour some into a little tub and then tip a couple in for each baby to hunt.
BTW....I must have missed the warm snap in Lancashire! ha ha

It's been really warm here for 2/3 days now but was snowing 3 days in a row before that what can ya say geordie weather I have micros but the are the size of a dot I didn't think they'd be any good I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find them if Pip didn't want them they are literally 0.1mm big . I don't want them to hurt Pip if she didn't take them n I can't find them coz they're so tiny.

Yeah I speak to Geordies every day. I have a couple of them on my team. Used to be a regular traveller to Newcastle until lockdown so just on Teams calls/videos now.
Had a roller coaster of weather but guess 12°c is a warm snap in the North East after all ha ha
