Cyriopagopus/Haplopelma. Anyone know the species?
Is that a C. lividum with a really dull blue or is it just me? Hard to say what it is to be honest besides Cyriopagopus or Haplopelma as the genus.

I’m colorblind lol so I see a beautiful chocolate brown :troll:

It appears to be Cyriopagopus longipes. They are basically a black C. lividus. Most, if not all, black tarantulas will change to brown at some point between molts.

An article in an older journal of the British Tarantula Society journal I have on my book shelf describes the presence of a blue C. longipes in the hobby which has the potential to confuse the identity between C. lividus and C. longipes. When such confusion occurs, the only way to tell the two species apart is by the spines making up the stridulatory organ on the inside face of the palpal coxae.
