I have kept P mets communally for years so no "experiment" here. Only one unaccounted for as one had a bad moult and died. I tend to separate them at juvenile stage anyway.

Based on my experience I have found that P mets and M balfouri are fine as communal species certainly up to juvenile age, especially from the same sac, but yes after that, I always separate.
