Hello, I was told to post a ventral shot of my Avic Avic here. I was hoping someone could help! Also, I’m looking to breed in the future and was curious if I have to breed the same morphs together? Thank you
"if I have to breed the same morphs together?" IF you want to be a good keeper and CONTRIBUTOR to the T community you should only breed the same morphs together. WHY? Because DNA testing hasn't been done on A. avicularia yet to determine if they are different species yet. Only cladistics has been performed. No one wants FrankenTs in the hobby...not at all.
Need a dorsal shot for Avics, and may need more than one.ID'ing Avics by a picture or two is limited to only a few species, and that is also dependent on the age/size of the Avic.

I guess my question was if morph type matters when breeding. It wasn’t a question of “I know you SHOULD breed them together but do I HAVE to?” I realize the way I worded it may of sounded like I wanted to breed some FrankenTs and didn’t care
I remember you responding to my improperly place post a while ago about this and it got deleted and I couldn’t remember what you said I needed to post so thank you. I will try and get a good shot of it. My mission is to get her properly identified so I can buy a proper mate for her to breed in the future.
YES it matters, for the reason I mentioned above, >>>. NO DNA testing has been done on the A.a. morphotypes. One either cares about the hobby, or doesn't
