Not sure what sp is as its not in the description but that looks like Sicarius sp.
I don't like that you housed it on gravel.Doubt that it will be able to hide(cover itself) while is housed like that.It needs fine grain sand.
Its called Sand spider for a reason.lol

It is in fact, as you guessed, an S. thomisoides. However, it isn't on gravel at all. it is on sand. This is a tiny sling (maybe 1/3" to 1/2"), so the image may make the sand grains appear larger than they actually are.
