I can see a flap in the photo you might just not be looking in the right spot it’s that clearish semicircle thing at the front of the abdomen between the first pai of book lungs. I can tell by coloration it’s not mature yet so prolly be very evident next molt or two. I’m about 80% sure though it’s a girl unless it got torn and I’m seeing something wrong

it definitely wasn’t torn so, yay! I hope you guys are right. I paid quite a bit for her and really want her to last a while. I’ve just seen some sexing videos where people like pull a flap back or something but I couldn’t get it to work with this molt. So I was hoping she was just undeveloped. I know males sometimes have a weird line down there too sometimes but eh. I’m new to this xD
Like I said I’m fairly sure. I just sexed my adult female: she was significantly larger though. Definitely try to snag the next one or two and post it so we can confirm. If someone sold you it as female and they are reputable definitely let them know if it’s not

I bought it from a pet store as a sling, so haven’t really known. I wanted my first tarantula to be one I raised from being very small. Just been super hopeful it would be a female so she would last longer! I’ll try to get her next molt too. Thanks!
