Dipluridae
Undescribed diplurid, likely Cethegus sp. or Australothele sp., from the south coast of NSW, Australia. Same species as February posting.
They look so different but but so beautiful
We'll see whether she's recently moulted. Seems a little bigger than the 4 cm girl, but, I didn't measure her. She took longer in the post than normal. Our internet connection went down and one of my son's school laptop's motherboard fried. With two 24hr shifts (Friday and Sunday) I thought it best just to get her housed. She needs a decent feed once settled in.

I should be getting a male, for these two girls, this coming week. He's already survived one breeding attempt - apparently escaping after being chased for 20 laps around the female's enclosure. Hopefully he arrives safe and sound and survives what I have for him.

Seriously diplurid pairings have me pulling my hair out like crazy, and ive only done it (unsuccessfully) a handful of times. Definitely giving my Nambucca's large spacious setups so males have plenty of room to escape

Hopefully you get a few more attempts. I'll only get to pull out chest hairs.

Gotta get myself a new male first as the first dude got smashed. Hopefully my guess on 2 of my newest females being gravid is correct as it'd save me the trouble. Ive probably kept about 8 up until now and i couldn't even get them this fat in captivity
