Wasn’t it only a few workers found across the border? Not that it couldn’t eventually be a problem, but my understanding was that it was being a bit sensationalized.

I saw some stuff on the hornet but I've not checked it out.
My paired sp. Yellow girl has gotten pretty big so I hope she'll lay a sack soon. We'll see how it goes. The other yellows are growing slow and two of them have been molt sexed as females. the last one is prob a female but I've not confirmed it yet. All my Ts are doing well.

The hornets were found in Washington state. They are from Asia. That's all I know. The article I read said many bee keepers have reported these hornets coming in and ripping the heads off their bees, killing the hive pretty much. Not sure if queens were killed. AND, if you get some multiple times-- you die! The stingers are large, and normal bee keeping outfits are not strong enough to prevent from being stung. You need to buy a different type.
