Ive had a few breeding pairs over the years and they are absolutely adorable. Gave up most of my reptiles in 2018 for spiders, but still got my last male thick tail with me to keep the gecko love in my veins

Hey @RezonantVoid! Any input regarding husbandry will be appreciated mate, I have a leaftail and once kept and bred knobtailed gecko's but they are pretty slow and not that active compared to these guys.
I bought a pair fairly cheap and the guy also gave me two eggs and I couldn't resist and also bought a juvenile green tree frog for $40. All are in temporary housing for the minute but are eating and doing really well, I have some spare 20 gallon cubes and 30 gallon tall exo terras under the house I intend to use.
How do you reckon I should set them up?
Id keep them in an exo terraria cubic, 30x30 or preferably a bit larger, with lots of wooden hides like curved pieces of gumtree bark. I had mine on sand as substrate which they didnt seem bothered by as most of the time they rest under the wood. Id hand feed them so they never ate the sand or anything, but it was a massive pain cleaning the water dish each day as inevitably they'd bath in it and fling sand inside. Hardened clay would also work well and with added benefit of far less maintenance and no worries about them swallowing sand. Thats about it from me, i had them like that and they never seemed unhappy.
