Missulena bradleyi
Female Eastern Mouse Spider. I found her via one of the social media platforms - understandably mistaken for a funnel-web - through a non-collector and with the caption "Any one want a pet". I said "Yes".
It indeed looks much like a funnel web. How large is she? I heard mouse spiders are quite rare, especially females!
If you put the 2 side by side, the only similarity is pretty much colour. These things dont look like they are even native to planet earth.

Virtually impossible to locate a wild burrow, only hope for finding females is them getting flooded out by heavy rain

Rare in hobby not in wild but in saying that not all need to be flooded out have found female before

Rain is the best chance for a female. Accidental discovery, while looking for something else is the next best. A fellow south of me, who finds all sorts of beauties, found his first female lifting a log the other day. He's been finding Kiama lachrymoides (I'm on the list for that one), Hadronyche nimoola, that beautiful un-named curtain-web that I posted a few weeks back, and a treasure basket of others.
