Thanks, I know it's a male. Actually, it was sold to me as a female so I may just return him to the woman who sold him to me. I don't like giving tarantulad away, but I have nothing to do with him and I need money for a female pulchra. I was planning on keeping him with the hope of breeding with one breeder's female, but then I realised he might be her son. The woman seems to care for her tarantulas, so he should be in good hands.
Yeah it sucks to have a male and you can't get him a lady, or someone who has one that's not possibly related.. especially if you're not breeding, I had that bad luck with my 1st two P. Irminias, but I had luck to find a young mature female so now I'm able to mate them, I couldn't find anyone interested in the males..
Well, I just took a look at my sling from the same species and it too looks like a male. Fortunately, It's not related to the breeder's female and if it really turns out a male, I can give it to him. I have some other males, but for some I've already purchased females. Good thing you've found a female. I wish you luck with breeding them.
