Currently 2¾" (7 cm) - Lampropelma tend to elude me a bit when determining sex. I'd venture to guess female from spacing of the coxa between the fourth, posterior legs on each side. Also from wider, anterior book lungs, but I need another's opinion.
It does need to be fed just a little more to fill out that area, I've noticed. To me, after viewing as many ventral shots as I can of Lampropelma, even though the anterior book lungs tend to be more near to one another and the posterior almost parallel/less wide spread, the males would have a fairly prominent 'dot.' You may be correct, however.
From these pictures I don't see anything to signify it's male.
It is a little on the small side, and it's always more difficult to tell when they are smaller, so I'd wait a few molts to confirm (and try to snag an actual molt if you can).
I wouldn't feel confident confirming a gender right now.
I'll definitely do that. I've never had such a difficult time determining the gender of something at this size. I had figured that it would be much more noticeable at this point from all of the information (limited as it may be) had portrayed. The anterior book lungs are a little close, and the is a SLIGHT raise near the lip where the epiandrous would normally be, no not enough to distinguish a 'dot' really and the hair is fairly smooth with nothing designating a triangular patch of any sort.
I'll try to get some better photos in due time, but I truly do thank you all. More help is appreciated to those that might feel inclined.
