Anyone know the sex from this molt? It was really twisted and I had a hard time spreading it out, so there's some damage. Its my first time trying to sex from a molt, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at or if it's intact enough to tell. Thanks!
Absolutely 100% female. Those 2 little squiggly, antenna-shaped things between the front set of book lungs are the spermathecae, where the female stores sperm after the mature male inserts it using the reproductive organs on his pedipalps. There will be an opaque "flap" over the top of them, which is the uterus externus, another part of the female reproductive system.
