Found this guy dead outside my house. There was a discussion some months ago about how common funnel webs are in Australia, this is the 3rd I've come into contact with in about a month.
There is a very effective anti venom now yes, but only due to constant milking of funnel webs, the males of which produce more venom, but don't live as long. So a constant supply is needed from the public catching them safely and taking them to local collection sites. @Otteresting
