This one is curious to me. Spider is around 1.5 to 2 inches DLS, sadly a couple of the legs broke off the exuviae so I could get a more accurate measure.
This species I know has two separate tubercle-like spermatheca, so this solid flat piece makes me wonder. Could it be flatter due to small size?
If it's female it should be pretty obvious by the next molt. My girl had small but visible spermatheca without magnification between 2-3" size. It was the next molt after she had lost her bumblebee butt stripes.

I actually just noticed yesterday that this spider lost the butt stripes after this last molt, a lovely full orange now, so you may be onto something. Will for sure check the next molt just to see!
