It is an excellent beginner pede, really docile, almost no aggression, nowhere near as twitchy as most species. This one is about 12 cm, and I believe they don't get all that much bigger.
It will burrow, but can be seen prowling about too.
Centipedes NEED moist spots, but that's not to say the whole enclosure should be high humidity. Air flow is a good thing. In this one's cage there's 4-5 cm of potting soil/coco/moss which is moist but not overly damp, a few bit of bark and quite a few ventilation holes. If you look at the photo you see the substrate & moss is quite moist, but the bark looks dry.
Centipedes will burrow/hide in tight spaces, and so long as the substrate is quite moist and the temperature high enough, the humidity in these spots will be very high, so you don't need to worry about the overall humidity in the cage being up at 75% or what have you like you need with some arboreal Ts.
I recommend it! I'm not sure how common they are though. If you are looking to handle centipedes this seems like an ideal starter (and also look at ThePureLife channel on YouTube)
