Adult A. Chalcodes sex?

This is my A. Chalcodes who went from tan to mostly black. Was sold as female
Too much light glare. Looks like it has been dipped in treacle.
Dry it out with tissue and try again. BUT....if really skinny looking now and completely black all over with hooks on the underside of the front pair of legs you now have a mature male.

Plus it's the INSIDE of the moult between the booklungs we need to see.

A. Chalcodes can and often change colour when female and there is a very recent thread on this where blondes are now brunette, but let's rule out the MM scenario first.

I'm not sure what treacle is, but the molt was only put in room temperature water. No hooks or palp changes and it's rather rotund. It hasn't eaten since November and still looks like a blimp. I have another photo from the other side of the molt if that's better. I'll add it. I did start a thread about color changes recently but I'm sure there are many on the same topic. Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I'll add one more shot I have of the molt. Unfortunately that's all I've got as my kitten found it (totally my fault) and ripped it apart.

Have replied to your other pic. 100% female.
Treacle is like a dark sugary syrup. I think it is called malacis (or summat like that) in the US.

That's great to hear! Thank you so much for the help. Yeah, we call it molasses in the states. I was tired and thought treacle was a tarantula related term. In the future, I'll let the molt dry before taking a photo. Thanks again!
