Actually Phormingochilus arboricola?

I originally purchased this spider as L. nigerrimum. However, every AF nigerrimum I have owned has been jet black with that signature purple sheen. This spider recently molted (within a month) and now it has me questioning the ID it was sold as. Currently 6” legspan with less than 1/4” DLS change
The Lampropelma are semi arboreal as well IME, so any of that type of behaviour?

Certainly not as dark as the L nigerrimum I had....although there is a bit of purple in there.
I am not the best with OW identification tho. Hope someone else can confirm for you.

Edit to above....most Phormingochilus also semi arboreal too BTW.

Possibly P arboricola?
I was leaning arboricola as well. I have had several mature female nigerrimum and I was waiting on a molt from this spider to make sure and lo and behold, no fluff, no purple. And she was 6” prior to the molt with no significant size increase so it rules out carpenteri.

Still a very nice spider so hope you can still enjoy your furry friend whatever she may be. 😊
