Please provide species and size in your post. That way, when a future version of you or I says "I wonder what the vent of a female (your species name here) that's (your specimen's size here) looks like? I'll use the search feature to find out!" they can find useful information.
Anyways, sorry for the mini-rant. The first pic is too blurry and therefore useless. This one is a little better, but not good enough for anyone to be 100% certain on gender. I'll go with male, though.
