i've seen my brother do it, he just hold it like that and thats it im also amazed on how this tarantula never go wild when you scoop them like that or handle it that way.
Honestly, my heart was pounding the whole time. I touched it a couple of times with the paint brush, and it lowered itself instead of running away or threatening me, and decided to try it. This is the second time I've ever done this kind of hold on a tarantula, and I don't plan on doing it again unless it's absolutely necessary.
