Labeled as C. huahini, seems too bluish to me (not my pics, owner asks for opinions)
They go through several colour changes as they grow so could easy be huahini , definitely looks like a chilobrachys so the right genus for sure.
If your pal isn't sure all I can suggest is don't breed the t keep them as a pet only but I would trust the seller they usually know their stuff.

I didn’t know they go through that much color changing, interesting. But I wouldn’t doubt this one as much if there weren’t another T from the same source that’s also very doubtful. Labelled C e.blue but still hasn’t shown any blue fangs at around the same size as this. I’ll prob post it later today. I’ll wait for answers for this one first

I have e blue I actually keep 11 sp of chilobrachys and even at 2.5 inch my little one has the blue fangs and on the legs. You'd know if you had one of those .

Honestly the t could be a few in the Chilobrachys genus blue Vietnam or dyscolus to name a couple that get the blue tinge, it doesn't help the genus is a mess though.
Personally I would just keep as a pet n not breed the t and until the t is fully grown I would keep the sp as the one the seller gave unless you can find solid evidence, colour can't be trusted as they all have several colour changes and even colour differences in the same sp due to different areas they come from.
I have seen pics on Google of this sp with the same colouring as this one so I wouldn't panic just yet 😊
