Same Stirmi, diff lighting. Also, can all Theraphosa be vent sexed in the same manner? Obviously nothing works as well as a molt ;)
I'm actually not sure about T. apophysis, but male T. stirmi definitely have a dark triangular patch of epiandrous fusillae. This really looks female.

Good deal. It was supposedly a verified female in a group of others.....all the same size. After pondering the situation for a while, I came to the conclusion it was wild caught. It was not labeled as such but.... Anyway, glad she settled in nicely and is what she was supposed to be. Thanks!

Definitely female.

Also T. apophysis have EF that look the same as stirmi and blondi, so they can all be sexed the same way.

Good deal. This girl is about 6". My Apophysis are 4" and 3", and my Blondis are small yet...but growing fast. Thanks guys!
