A decade ago I was a total arachnophobe! But the more I get used to how they look I find beauty and cuteness in spiders, and they can be really interesting, awesome and often funny. Some spiders still creep me out if they walk on me, but that's an "instinct" that will take some time to get over. And of course, some spiders are scared of humans too.

Boosting the contrast on the photos can help a bit. I have a small acrylic enclosure for when I take care of a "stray spider" in winter/early spring and it's glass clear. I need to get another one, because this year I had to take care of two spiders, and the second one had to live in a milky container.

I have only been a spider fan over the last year and a half , I lost my youngest son Marshall to asthma and not long after found out there was a t bearing his knick name the C.marshalli I have been obsessed ever since, the more I found out the more I need to know the more questions I have lol I still need to invest in better viv's as I have a collection of random spiders I found in my house and Pip my baby baumgarteni but I got a lens set for my phone yesterday so am going to try again to get pics they are so tiny n clear my phone said no lol.

For most of my life I thought that people who had spiders only tried to be "cool" because they liked "scary" stuff. And now I love spiders with all my heart. And yeah, there is always more to learn and experience with spiders.
